Karibuni!
By the grace of our Divine Mother,
the International Diwali Puja for 2022 will be
hosted by AFRICA held in
Mombasa, KENYA,
17th - 24th October 2022

This is an incredible opportunity for Yogis to visit the city and country!
Kenya like the rest of East Africa is blessed with people who are welcoming, warm hearted & generous. Incredible landscapes in each region and not forgetting the unique wildlife which Africa is famous for.

Kenya is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean.
It encompasses savannah, Lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands. It's also home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos. From Nairobi, the capital, safaris visit the Maasai Mara Reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations, and Amboseli National Park, offering views of Tanzania's 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Experience the incredible food full of fresh local ingredients, Mombasa cuisine creates a fusion of ingredients & cultural influences uniquely found in the coastal areas of Kenya offering a distinctive flavour to the food.
Kenya is diverse and deep with its own cultural heritage with documented archeological evidence dating back to stone age period. Knowledge which is passed down in families throughout millennia. Rarely is this information documented as we see in the west, however this culture is deeply rooted and can only be experienced by immersion in the life, however short or long your visit may be & whichever country you visit on the continent.
The culture is imbibed in every facet of daily life, clothes, arts, food, music, dance. What is most prominent is the joy, laughter and the attitude of living for today, everyday. Thankfully this way of life is infectious and you feel it on arriving on the continent and smiling like the locals when you leave. Africa will touch the spirit in your soul and leave you with the fondest of memories.

Please Take Note of the Following:
Local weather
In Mombasa is 25c + during October, with little rain.
*Use lightweight clothing and long sleeved garments and trousers/skirts. Avoid dark colours as they attract mosquitos.
*Don’t bring unnecessary gadgets and items which you will be burdened with in caring for during your visit, think basic and this should suffice.
*Natural insect repellents can easily be made so chemicals are used close to your skin. (Details of how to make shared separately).
