Welcome to Egypt
More info to follow...
Egypt, a country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East, dates to the time of the pharaohs. Millennia-old monuments sit along the fertile Nile River Valley, including Giza's colossal Pyramids and Great Sphinx as well as Luxor's hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings tombs.
The capital, Cairo, is home to Ottoman landmarks like Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities.

Ancient Egypt can be thought of as an oasis in the desert of northeastern Africa, dependent on the annual inundation of the Nile River to support its agricultural population.

I’ve talked to Egyptians, Chinese and Indians. They have the same views about sex and they just laugh at other people what are they doing where are they rambling? Why are you wasting their energy? They just can’t understand what’s the matter with these people have they gone off their heads. But if you go to any newly born country they are better because also one reason that sometimes tradition can clamp you down to certain things which could not be so helpful. But those who are [FAULT?] with their opinion even now are better because you can tell them that sex does not play part in your evolution. Now you can see that it lies below the kundalini. This centre looks after all excretion has got four petals as we have got four plexuses, sub-plexuses. We’ve got four sub-plexuses for our major plexus called as pelvic plexus within us. So in the gross the pelvic plexus represents in the gross this subtle centre of Mooladhara. So the people who think too much about sex, study sex, and bother too much with their brains are having a joyless pornography with them. It’s absolutely joyless, absurd and creates the biggest problem for the society. First time when I went abroad abroad I [STARTED?] people looking at every woman looking at every man. Mad I’m seeing what’s the matter with them.

Talk to Austrian Sahaja Yogis about photos - 1996 10 30
Shri Mataji: In this one, see the photograph, the other day, when I arrived at the airport. What a nice photograph it is. You saw this? Very nice. I was quite tired also. But I look quite fresh, you know. To convince people that I’m tired. [Laughter] All right. I’m thinking, I will just go around the market, just to give some vibrations, because the whole day is lying there. And it would be nice. We have come to Egypt to give some vibrations after all. I’ve been here before, twice. You met such a nice man, you know, this journalist. Have you
taken his address? Sahaja Yogi: Sure. In all this, whatever has happened, we found some nice people. I am sure we’ll be able to work out. Ask him the address of that General also. Sahaja Yogi: The general? I have it. Shri Mataji: You have? Sahaja Yogi: Yes. I’m dealing with since 5 years. Shri Mataji: Such a [unclear]. Djamel: Shri Mataji, whenever you are ready, the car is ready.

Understand The Importance Of Becoming - 1998 07 06
… time I went to Russia and so many Germans came there and I was surprised. "How is it you are here?" "Why not Mother? So many of them were killed here by Germans, don't you think we are duty bound to come here to help?" "Yes, correct." But how they all arrived there, I was surprised. This time I went to Egypt, and in Egypt I was surprised many Israelis came. I said, "How are you here? What are you doing here?" They said, "Mother, after all, these are Muslims. We have to make friends with them.

"Inshallah” [If God wills]. Sufi :Türkiye has a different situation from other Islamic countries. It is the Sufi culture that keeps Islam alive in us. Sufi :I mean, it is very different from Saudi Arabia, even from Egypt, Libya, and African countries. SHRI MATAJI: But one Sufi cannot make others Sufis, it's the point. But in Sahaja Yoga, we can make thousands. Sufi : As those dervish lodges are closed nowadays, it is possible to talk about everything. They were doing this. They didn't, but they all have a tread , a tree. So it goes as an upward
